SePRO Total Pond - Clear G is a granular algaecide and water quality enhancer designed for use in ponds, lakes, reservoirs, irrigation and drainage canals, and man-made outdoor water features such as water gardens, ornamental ponds, and fountains. The active ingredient is Copper Sulfate Pentahydrate at a concentration of 58.9%. This product controls a broad range of nuisance algae, including green, blue-green (cyanobacteria), planktonic and filamentous algae, and plant-macroalgae. Beyond algae control, it is formulated to improve water clarity by reducing phosphorus levels and binding/precipitating suspended solids. It is applied directly to the water surface. For larger areas, the product can be broadcast using a waterproofer, scoop, or other appropriate equipment. For smaller applications, surface spray application can be used by dissolving the required amount in a spray tank. Users should note that the product is effective year-round, but application should occur before ice forms. When handling, wear protective eyewear, gloves, long-sleeved shirts, pants, shoes/stockings, and waterproof clothing. If contact occurs, rinse skin or eyes with plenty of water and seek medical attention if necessary.
