Spike 20P is a surface-applied, soil-active herbicide. It is used to control woody plants, including trees, shrubs, and vines. This product is applied to the soil surface and becomes effective once sufficient rainfall moves the active ingredient into the root zone.

Timing & weather
- Treatments become effective after sufficient rainfall has occurred to move the active ingredient in Spike 20P into the root zone.
- Herbicidal symptoms appear most rapidly when applied just before seasonal rainfall.
Use restrictions 3
- Do not apply Spike 20P in areas adjacent to sinkholes or depressions lacking external drainage which occur within areas of karst topography.
- Do not apply Spike 20P to high shrink/swell soils (vertisols) which develop deep cracks upon drying.
- Do not apply Spike 20P within areas identified by state or local authorities as protected groundwater recharge zones.
