Sefina Inscalis is an insecticide containing the active ingredient afidopyropen. It is designed for use on a variety of crops including alfalfa, citrus, cotton, cucurbits, fruiting vegetables, grass forage, fodder, nongrass animal feeds, pome fruits, sorghum, soybean, stone fruits, tree nuts, tuberous and corm vegetables. It works by targeting the insect's chordotonal organ TRPV channel modulator, disrupting feeding and other behaviors. This product is intended for use by professional applicators, such as farmers and growers; it is not for use by homeowners. When applying, users must follow specific buffer zone restrictions for ground water, surface water, and aerial applications to protect non-target organisms and aquatic environments. It is important to manage resistance by rotating with products of different modes of action and following integrated pest management (IPM) programs.
